Jo Matkin

Chief Executive

As CEO, Jo leads the global TALiNT Partners team to achieve our vision of being the world’s most valued community in the global talent ecosystem, by creating exceptional experiences for our audiences and partners.

Jo is an executive and industry expert with 18 years of experience across talent solutions, specialist staffing, global industry research, and consulting. Previously managing director of a FTSE 100 owned talent solutions business, she has since served as a global research director in workforce solutions, and as CEO for specialist staffing and consultancy firms.

Ken Brotherston

Founder, Chairman and Chair of the Global Advisory Board

Ken has vast experience successfully running & building global businesses across the TA & recruitment ecosystem. Ken leads the TALiNT Partners team, helping to create exceptional experiences for our audiences.

With over 30 years’ industry experience including Board positions at Robert Walters, Korn/Ferry International, Morgan McKinley, and as HR Director Fidelity Investments. He also sits on the Recruitment and Development Committee at Oxfam.

Alex Evans

Managing Director

As MD of TALiNT Partners, Alex heads up development of our membership programme to provide members with access to peers, experts and advisers as well as curated insights from our global TIARA awards campaigns and industry benchmarks.

Alex has over 20 years’ experience working in publishing, events, awards and business networks. He’s Worked with companies including UBM, The Supper Club and the National Business Awards.

Sarah Arnold

Global Marketing Director

Sarah leads the events and marketing team. She ensures the growing engagement with key audiences around the globe and delivering an array of world-class event experiences across the globe. She also makes sure our metrics inform our strategy and services.

Sarah has over 15 years’ of marketing experience and has worked with Jobsite, idibu, Unleash, SourceBreaker, Odro and numerous recruitment agencies. 

Christine Brotherston

HR & Operations Director

Christine runs our HR and Operations by utilising her extensive HR experience. Shes ensure our operations are compliant, efficient and that they support our event experiences and services to our audiences. 

Christine has over 25 years’ experience within senior HR roles including Cable and Wireless and as Head of HR for Barclaycard UK. 

Kris Clelland

Managing Director, APAC

Kris, an adept Global Talent Acquisition Leader and HR Technology Advisor, excels as a DE&I Thought Leader across the globe.

With over 20 years’ expertise in people, talent, operations, and technology, Kris is deeply passionate about authentic leadership, prioritizing inclusion and fostering a sense of belonging, rather than mere management, in his dedicated focus on team dynamics.

Ray Culver

Managing Director, Americas

Ray is responsible for developing strategic relationships with leaders in the recruiting and talent acquisition communities in the US.He also works to build engagement across all of TALiNT Partners services. 

Ray is a Human Capital Solutions executive with 25+ years of experience in all aspects of the contingent workforce space that includes temp, contract, direct hire, HR technology, RPO, MSP/VMS.

Andy Daniel

Global Partnerships Director

Andy is one of the best-connected people in the industry and ensures we have a pipeline of new sponsors who become long-term partners. Andy makes sure that our partners get a superb return on their investment.

Andy has over 18 years of industry experience working with sponsors and companies including Centaur and Redactive Media.

Tessa Atherall

Events Manager

Tessa manages members and delivers exceptional events for TALiNT Partner’s growing network of Staffing, Talent Solutions and HR Tech leaders. Tessa ensures that members and their leadership teams benefit all year round from the most relevant insight, learning and networking opportunities, guidance and advice, referrals and industry recognition.

Tessa has a first-class degree in Events Management and has honed her skills in marketing, community management and peer learning over the last five years.

Aisha Bushell

Content Marketing Manager

Aisha manages our global content strategy, crafting compelling content that resonates with our diverse international audience to help drive commercial success. She is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, and weaves these core values into her content initiatives.

Aisha has a first-class degree in Media and Communications, and has worked to hone her skills in marketing, content strategy, and communications over the past five years, ensuring our messages are not only impactful, but also inclusive and evocative.

Chantal Cooper

Awards Manager

Chantal manages our TIARA global awards campaigns, and ensures that we deliver an out-of-this-world and celebratory experience for our entrants, judges and sponsors.

Chantal has been in the events industry for over eight years and has delivered renowned events such as The AA Awards and worked with Wimbledon.

Helen Palmer-Wickens

Awards Manager

Helen manages the TALiNT Partners’ global awards campaigns, ensuring that we deliver outstanding experiences for our entrants, judges and sponsors.

Helen has over six years of experience in event management and has managed a vast portfolio of events and awards ceremonies across various industries including the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector.

Emily Shanks

Awards Executive

Emily supports our TIARA global awards campaigns ensuring delivery on marketing campaigns and an out-of-this-world and celebratory experience for our entrants, judges and sponsors.

Emily has three years experience in awards and marketing, managing campaigns in the UK, Dubai and America.

Samantha Stanwell

Events Executive

Samantha is our new Events Executive for the APAC region, working closely with our APAC Managing Director, Kris Clelland.

Samantha has a rich 5 years’ of experience managing corporate and client-focused events nationally, both in-person and online. She has honed an ability to juggle the vibrant spectrum of event planning from inception to execution, whilst maintaining key client relationships throughout. New to the Talent Eco System, Samantha plans to be a sponge and learn everything there is to know, whilst showcasing her digital marketing and events skills to drive results for this region.

Kayanna Moutarde

Events Executive

Kayanna is our newly qualified Events Executive and works closely with Alex, our Managing Director to deliver exceptional events for TALiNT Partner’s growing network of Staffing, Talent Solutions and HR Tech leaders.

Kayanna has 2 years of events experience delivering a variety of dinners, lunches and conferences across the UK. Kayanna has also worked closely with the awards team to deliver on another successful Awards ceremony in Chicago 2024 and has ambitions to expand her knowledge and expertise in customer service & marketing.

Courtney Pearse

Marketing Support Executive

Courtney plays a key role in supporting the team across marketing and content production activities. Focused on enhancing marketing efforts, improving digital presence, and aiding in events and awards campaigns.

Following completing her apprenticeship, Courtney has been instrumental in supporting content marketing activity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working on omni-channel campaigns. Looking ahead, Courtney is keen to further enhance her expertise, taking on more complex projects and exploring new areas in the industry.

Lucy McPherson

Events & Delegate Relationship Executive

Lucy manages members and orchestrates exceptional events for TALiNT Partners’ expanding network of Staffing, Talent Solutions, and HR Tech leaders. She ensures that members and their leadership teams gain year-round value through tailored insights, learning opportunities, strategic networking, expert guidance, referrals, and industry recognition.

Lucy holds a BSc in Digital Media Production and brings extensive expertise to her role, drawing from a diverse professional background spanning recruitment, corporate events, and digital marketing. Throughout her career, she has honed her creativity, organisational acumen, and relationship-building abilities, allowing her to provide exceptional support and foster meaningful engagement within TALiNT Partners’ community

Kevin Liyanage

Digital Marketing Apprentice

Kevin supports the team across the breadth of our digital marketing content and creation of marketing content to develop his skills and build his knowledge of the exciting industry we work in.

Alison Tuff

Data Administrator

Alison looks after and reviews our data to make sure we keep relevant and senior experts informed about events and insights.

Dawn Gibson

Features Writer

Dawn edits and produces a wide diversity of content for TALiNT International, including blogs, analysis, research, whitepapers and high-profile interviews.

She has more than 20 years’ experience working across various platforms in the UK and internationally, including Western Australian Newspapers Limited and ITP Media Group.
