Our Ireland TA Leader’s summit that looks at the big talent issues facing employers in 2023 will take place on 11th May in Dublin.

As the world of work evolves organisations are exploring new avenues to harness and develop talent in every form it takes. And when it comes to confident decision-making there is nothing more enabling than great insight.

Through keynote presentations, panel Q&A, and peer discussions we will hear from thought leaders in talent acquisition across EMEA, solutions experts and leading TA technology providers, giving a multi-dimensional view of the evolving recruitment and candidate markets.

With thought-provoking conversation, topics will include:

  • Leveraging data to overcome opinion and bias and reach in-demand skills.
  • Diverse hiring for an inclusive distributed workforce.
  • The role of technology in talent acquisition.
  • Building flexibility and agility into strategic workforce planning for an unpredictable 2023
  • Shifting candidate expectations and how they might respond to a market downturn

In a packed agenda we will hear keynote presentations from industry-leading experts. Join us for thought-provoking discussion and shared insights – and an excellent lunch of course!

Introducing 1st Keynote Speaker: Jim Power

Jim will share his thought and insights on the economic climate and its impact on the Irish labour market.

He has worked as an economist in the private sector for over 35 years. He is owner manager of Jim Power Economics, an economic and financial consultancy, which he set up in 2009.

He was previously Treasury Economist at AIB (1987-1991), Chief Economist at Bank of Ireland Group (1992-2000) and Chief Economist Friends First Group (2000 to 2018). He is a board director of Love Irish Food and is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.

In 2009 he published his first book ‘Picking up the Pieces’, and co-authored ‘Marketing Multiplied’ in 2015. In November 2021 he published a book on the SME sector in Ireland with Kinsale accountant Cormac Fitzgerald, ‘Smart Tips for SMEs’.

Introducing 2nd Speaker: Alison Ettridge, CEO, Stratigens

As well as highlighting insights specifically for Ireland, Alison will share examples of how organisations are building talent intelligence into their strategy and decision making.

Alison is Stratigens CEO and Chief Believer – living the entrepreneurs dream! Alison loves seeing businesses use our data and insight to validate strategic decisions; helping HR & Talent convince their leaders of the power of talent intelligence (turning them into Believers!). She has spent twenty plus years in the world of people and talent – from her first job in executive recruitment, to sales at monster.com and then into the world of talent research and intelligence, which was where she spotted the opportunity for Stratigens – to bridge the gap between strategy and execution with data, by putting access to human capital at the heart of business decision making.

Introducing 3rd Speaker: Julie Randall, Head of Strategy, PH Creative

With the ever growing need to stand out in the marketplace, there’s increasing pressure on organisations to communicate an authentic employer brand strategy to attract the skills they need. To help consider those challenges, we’ll be joined by Julie Randall, Head of Strategy at PH Creative who will expand upon the key trends and differentiators in Employer Branding and the requirement to build an authentic candidate attraction proposition.
